Nowadays, solar power has become popular across many countries in the world. This energy is used as a source of household power in recent times. There are numerous reasons behind this but one main is that the government promotes it and also provides some subsidies to people when people purchase solar panels. It has some advantages and drawbacks.
Authorities promote people to use solar power. For this purpose, the government also furnishes a reduction while the customer buys it. And the customer takes it as an emphatic way and in such a custom, customers reduce their expenses. Thus, the buyer can save money.
There are some merits of solar power like it is the cheapest product. With one time of investment, people are free from long time expenditures of energy. Besides, it is pollution-free and does not harm the environment and people's health. This energy is environment friendly and easily available through sun rays. The easy availability of daylight makes it more productive.
In contrast, there are some disadvantages to solar power. Solar power can be installed in that area where sunlight is present in the day. Therefore, in cooled areas like Jammu and Kashmir (India), sun rays are inaccessible in most of the days. However, the middle-class family cannot afford the amount for solar panels. It is difficult for them to invest such a large amount of money at a time. Hence, solar energy not becomes beneficial for such a category of people.
To conclude, even though there are some demerits of solar energy, but it is more useful, cheapest and effective for individuals. Also, the government provides some financial benefits to people while they purchase and use it.
